Broadway Trio

Neil Atkinson and Martin Kerridge on clarinets with the amazing piano accompaniment of Mary Holborow graced our lunchtime convert today. We discovered that Mary was born and raised within a few hundred yards of where the same thing happened to me in Cardiff. She had left home by the time I started at Marlborough Road primary school, which was exactly half way between our homes.
A polka written originally for violins and piano by Shostakovich was the dramatic climax to their programme.
