Excuse me Jonathan!

My lawn has been aerated already, so please get your beak out of it!

When he returned to his favourite lookout post on my garden wall I was delighted to see a slightly smaller gull hop up next to him.  I think he's got a wife and they're nesting on the flat roof of the house over the wall.  (Memo to self: Don't ever buy a house with a flat roof.)

By the way, I called him Jonathan when he was a youngster, after the cult 1970s book: Jonathan Livingston Seagull.  Not that this Jonathan is an intrepid explorer.  He's just a home-loving guy.
