Chideock

This beautiful old church is right next to our cottage .... very handy if you want to know the time as the bells chime the hour! Fortunately after the last 12 chimes of midnight they stop until 7am. Deliberate wildflower meadow in the grounds, lots of birds & insects.

Started out on a 4.5 mile walk that ended up being 6 miles due to dodgy written instructions but it didn’t matter as the sun was out, the scenery glorious and the later visit to the farm shop for scones fully justified!
