As promised: the Siemens KWU gasturbine

As promised a few days ago here's a photo of the 150MW gasturbine which is used in the comi unit Eems 20.
The gasturbine generates electric power through it's generator and as the exhaust gasses still contain about 16% of oxygen we use these gasses as hot air for the burners of the conventional boiler which produces steam for the conventional steamturbine.
In the front you can see one of the two "cans" which contain the "low nox" burners.
On the left the exhaust is going through the wall on its way to the boiler.
The gasturbine (GT) can also run on its own when the combi unit is at standstill (ie. in the weekend) It then is used as an emergency unit.
