Worth getting wet for
We got up early this morning to go and meet Chippy and head out for a photoshoot. I've been learning a lot this holiday about DSLRs and today's lesson was in manual settings using water as a good medium to see how altering different aspects could change a picture. We set out in the dry but it was soon blustery and wet. That only deterred us slightly when we chose to not even risk getting our cameras out at the first location. This little stream at Haweswater was a bit more sheltered so we pulled out the fishing brolly and set up.
I think I've learnt a lot, maybe by next visit I'll still remember some of what they taught me. I know for a faster shutter speed I need a higher iso and any time I alter the iso or f-number I need to readjust my exposure.
We detoured back via town to set up a new window display in the shop to showcase what Mum will be moving on to in the New Year. It's looking good and will certainly surprise anyone who hadn't realised she's closed.
