Gifted

I need to confess to this being a blip-cheat: a shot of a photo taken on Friday when this arrived and was wrapped up ready for the  birthday, today, of the most lovely of 20 year olds - the former Official Bailey Sitter. She did eventually get a Happy Birthday message too although not until the end of the working day and she liked her present as much as I hoped she would.  There was also a delivery to be made on the way home to fulfil a tradition.

It's been a day of lots of talking and very little action. Y11s had their first English Language exam with happy faces all round when they came out. It's a busy week for them and some of them really do look wiped out so it is good to see their positivity. I'm hoping that I might be able to have a bit more of a positive day tomorrow - or at least one where there is less talk.
