1 Year Old!

It was Oscars birthday today! To celebrate I took him for a long walk through the woods first thing instead of our usual route round the houses and over the railway line! He was well pleased with this as we bumped into the postman on our way to the woods! He recognised the van and when we got close put his paws up on the door and poked his head in the window to lick him! We then had a game of him passing us and us passing him as he delivered the post! He was delighted when he got to meet him outside his van and did his whimpering sound he reserves for those people he really loves, like The Exile! I think the postman is just as pleased to see Oscar - who can resist the obvious affection a dog has for you! His next treat was finding a pheasant on the lawn that runs along one part of the woodland path - it has no fence just a well worn track up the bank and then a leap onto the lawn! He always goes up and looks in hoping to see a rabbit so he was well pleased to see a pheasant! The pheasant flew out when he chased it much to his surprise! His final  treat was a buffalo rib in the afternoon!
So at 1 year of age you can see how big he has grown by the blip - I am 5 foot and cannot look over this wall! He does love to look over walls!
