A Bit Of Sun

So I took out the big camera with a macro lens with the intention of shooting a sprouting Rowan which is dripping with lichen (although the light wasn't actually hitting it).
Before I got there though there were the forming beech nuts, the red tinged seed wings and the shadows & moss covered rocks in the stream that were also on the list.
Just before the fallen oak tree which came down in the winds last night there were these cow parsley (I think).
Big weedslittle weeds and short lived weeds were also the order of the day ………. as was the sprouting pine. I rather like this shot - maybe I should have put this up as the main shot.

By lunchtime it was cloudy and by tea time it was raining.
SWMBO has been in bed for most of the day but I have got her up and managed to get some food into her. Hopefully things will be better tomorrow (although the weather is meant to be rubbish for the rest of the week - which the grinning morons on the TV telling us what they think is going to happen seem to find very entertaining).

I spent a while in the garage making up and pouring resin onto the commissioned bit of wood.
It is the first time I have tried it and I am not sure how it is going to turn out, but it seems to have gone a bit better than I expected … but I will see in a couple of days when it has had the chance to cure.
