So Far Behind

Dear Diary,

At this time last year the iris were blooming and the batista was in full flower but the only thing in bloom right now is my ever faithful Jacob's Ladder.  Such a beautiful blue I think.  I guess the garden got a slow start with all the rain and cold temperatures in May.  One morning last week it was in the 30'sF!  This morning the sun is shining, the temperature around 50F and the sky is a shade of blue that matches this flower.  Maybe things will get the hint and start the show!  Bloom baby, bloom!
