KICK Chloe

Day two of the Basildon Open. Up bright and early for breakfast at the Hotel, then to the pool for 8am warm-up. Chloe's 400m freestyle was the first event, and as you can see she had lots of support from her team mates. Unfortunately it wasn't her best time, but as coach says there's no such thing as a bad swim, just a learning experience. She obviously learned from it, because we managed to get her into the 50m fly as a time trial (we hadn't originally entered for it) and she got her Kent Time!

Joe swam brilliantly too and got his Kent Time for the 400m free. We then left early, leaving Chloe to get a lift with friends, and ended up stuck in traffic for hours owing to the M25 being closed. Not many options when you have to cross the Thames, so we ended up going into London and through the Blackwall Tunnel. Oh well, it was nice to have some time together.
