The Butterfly Tree

A cold day, in fact almost Arctic - but I dressed for the weather and it was only my fingers that got cold.
I met up with oldTimer and ShoeLover at the Aigantighe Art Gallery grounds to photograph the Monarch Butterflies as they winter over on the huge Himalayan Cedar tree in the grounds.  They come to this tree every winter and hang about.  
They are quite hard to see initially, and is quite a sight to see them like this.  
The Sony came into its own, with its good zoom.......no cropping.
