Street observation

One last coffee at our usual place near the AirBnB, before we took a taxi to the airport. Quite a bit of the usual sitting around, before take off. But it was lovely to see L and G at the airport when we landed. Mr A's first time in Greece. And now after lots of long weekends and the odd day and here, it's great to have a proper week's holiday.

After dropping our things at their flat, we all headed into town. They are walking distance from the centre, which is great for us. Half an hour's walk and we had a view of the Acropolis. Rather than eating in the centre with the throng of tourists, we headed back on the metro to a square where L and G have a number of favourite bars and restaurants for dinner and a glass of post-prandial beer.

Great weather. 25 degrees. Not too hot, not too cold.
