Autumn Meets Winter

I went to morning tea with my church friends, and on the way home I spotted this scene.  I have been meaning to photograph it for ages, but have always posted something else.  Today is the day, with clear mountains, and a few autumn leaves on the tree.  I didn't note what the tree is, I don't think it is an Oak.  

I am going to collect little 'h' from school, and take her to swimming.  There is a very cold wind, with the temperature of +7C.  I have had the fire going all day.
