Monday: Calendula/Pot Marigolds

Howling gale all day. MrD and I started clearing the far corner of the garden. MrD took a van load of junk to the tip. I sieved soil for the new fuchsia garden and started planting it up.
The cordyline is full of flowers and the flowers are full of bumble bees. Many bees crawling around on the concrete looking exhausted.
Bullfinch feeding on cranesbill seeds and sparrows flying around with their chicks.
Two bats flying through the garden tonight!
