Here to stay

The 1970s shopping centre is being revamped. One by one, the shops in the central part are closing. Wilko and Home Bargains are doing all right. This independent store is fighting back. Good for them! Best place in town to buy dog tags or get a key cut. (I don't have a dog but I've lost count of the number of tags I've bought for one of my sister's pets. They're all accident prone, and her scruffy dog Harris was once 'borrowed', taken to Glasgow and renamed Bonnie!)

Work was good. Staff numbers down, but some.kids were off sick too. We even got a bit of rough-and-tumble play with some of the nursery boys. The phone lines were broken, and the peace and quiet was much appreciated.
