Changing the face of the Floral Clock
Spent some time in Edinburgh and managed to cover over 16,000 steps today.
The Floral Clock is a significant feature in the Princes Street Gardens and I usually pass it as I always walk on the gardens side rather than the shopping side.
Very rarely do you come across the highly skilled gardeners setting out a new face design, and today was the day.
This one is for Save the Children.
Postscript added Tuesday June 4.
The photographer on the right hand side of the balcony is Gordon Terris and he took a photo of the Floral Clock 5 minutes after I took mine.
His photo features the "horticultural horologist" Tom McKirdy working from the inclined ladder and is featured as the "Picture of the Day" in The National Newspaper.
