MonoMonday : Checking......

.....to make sure I've got all the ingredients for this "delightfully old fashioned" cake.  It's a certain someone's birthday next weekend and this is always the requested cake.  Must be full of cherries and Kirsch!  Not suitable for the little ones so daughter-in-law A is making some similar looking muffins!  You can tell the books are well used!
