In the Park....

These two little girls were busy racing on their scooters in Pollard Park this afternoon. Here the large oak trees are still hanging onto most of their leaves. Keith and I called in their after a shopping trip to town. It is the 3rd of June, Queen’s Birthday here in New Zealand and incidentally Keith and my 53rd wedding anniversary. Phew! That’s a long time. We are hanging in there hoping to get to 60 years. A very cold start to the day with a minus 4C frost this morning. While out walking Maisie rolled in something that smelt like dead fish-eating seabird.... needing a bath when we arrived home.
