Oystercatchers!

We went out for a walk along the beach from L'etacq to Secrets and back again via the ice-cream van. It was overcast but quite warm especially up by the sea wall. I took this photo just as the sun was peeping through for a very brief moment.

I love these birds especially when they calling as it's such a summery sound.
