Bonsai

We dug deep in our pockets to visit Gardening Scotland.  It is a mix of wonderful planting and extensive retail for anything which can be remotely connected with gardening.
Some of the plant stalls were astonishing.  I spent a long time on the many Bonsai stands.  Sometimes I think it is cruel - making trees do something unnatural to it.  But the end results are objects of wonder.  I think I want to try it.
