There was a fire in Elche last week on a palm tree growing field. The fire was a size of a football field. They had to evacuate the houses near it. We could see how the fire had crossed the road in few points. Luckily they got it under control before more damage was done.

So today we drove by to see the trees. They were quite pretty in their own way. Impressive nature showing us its force.

We also visited a beach today. El Pinet further south. It was on the way from the burned palm trees.

I got apple pie from Jen that she had made. That was very good with ice cream.

The hot weather is starting to reach us. It was nearing 30°C in the sun. On Wednesday it's likely to be 29°C in the shade. Soooo... Summer is here and we have to start acting accordingly. Can't do too much or will get nauseous.
