Ancient World

The blip today was a choice between chefs, umbrellas or this.
It was a rainy day which didn't really dampen our spirits as this was the day we had picked to treat ourselves in a michelin star restaurant, La Bottega del Buon Caffe. It was great and we had a tasting menu which lasted all afternoon.
In the morning we were in the Laurentian Medici Library. 
I was fascinated by book and the ancient map of the world which I have tried to stitch together from various images I took. 
The UK (Albion) is an interesting shape and so is Scandinavia, but the Mediterranean and Middle East are easy to figure out.
