Reflection.

Today I paid a visit to my parents grave. ( A Day late).
The sense of loss has never gone away, although the sadness has dimmed.
The redundant Church of St. Werburg in Warburton is truly an oasis and I visit often.
There is always a feeling of calm about this place, and I leave with my spirits lifted.
Particularly important today, as both my wife and myself have missed Christmas Day dinner due to being struck down with the dreaded "Lurgi"! and spent the day in bed.

Today therefore is, unofficially of course, Christmas day in our house :-)
