A Large Rhododendron Flower

This if Friday's Blip.....I am getting around to it today.

The flowers on this particular Rhododendron are very large and quite pretty. After I finished getting all the weeds out and pruning what needed trimming......then we all spread the bark chips. The yard looks good. I hope the bark keeps the weeds down.

It was another beautiful day at the beach.....about 75 F and sunny.  We went for a boat ride.....but it was quite rough in the bay.....we didn't stay out long. Ellie was totally unafraid as her Grandmother (our daughter-in-law) reached for a life jacket. We only pulled the crab traps twice and got 2 crab.....we decided that was enough.
