Quiet Day

A pleasant walk at Cotehele today. No mishaps with Oscar - he didn't chase the ducks or try to hump other dogs so a good walk! I bought a wicker suet feeder in one of the craft shops by the mill - much prettier than a plastic and metal hanger!On the way back Oscar met a friendly dog and they had a good play - the smaller dog was definitly the boss and Oscar just relished being chased and barked at by him! 
Come the eve and I showed the new coop member the lock up routine. I'd been told by the person who opened after her that she had been closing the run not the coop and  leaving the battery on! Her young son came too, he is totally smitten by the hens - even has wellington boots with a  hen pattern!  They had bought mealworms for them that day which they greatly appreciated! 
Home to bed as my IBS has been playing up since Monday - I blame the red cabbage and beetroot soup I had on Monday!
