Reggie

Reggie has been King’s College, London’s official mascot since 1923.
During Rag Week in the 1960s....when I was an undergraduate, he was carried by students through the streets, along the Strand, the Embankment and around the Aldwych in central London.
He was kidnapped, several times, by students from neighbouring colleges!.....all harmless fun!

Today, I was back at King’s....... celebrating with friends, 50 years since we graduated in 1969

My Blip is a copy of “Reggie”, on the stairway of the entrance to the Great Hall, at the Strand Campus!.......
the original is, apparently, being kept securely behind glass.....in another building!!
