We decided on a relatively light day so just cutting the grass, cleaning my road bike, sorting out Gill's auto watering set-up and oiling the kitchen worktops.

While we were sat in the garden listening to the rugby premiership final I set the camera up on a bean bag pointed at this old branch socket which is about the right size to hold a little mixed food and attact a few of the local wild birds.  Except when I have a camera pointed at it!

I did learn something about focus peaking though, and tried the adaptor on my M5 with the 7--200 f4 lens.  Quite like the bokeh in this one.

Of course - as soon as I set the camera aside so we could eat dinner ...

Definitely silly Saturday!
