Made the most of a rain free morning and took the girls to Crummock Water.  We had a really lovely walk, just a shame that it was so dull.  Once back in the car.... whilst I was drinking a coffee there was some unusual activity taking place right behind my car!  Some young lads were literally putting together a canoe or kayak!  It was in dozens of pieces of wood and what looked like metal pieces too!   Shame I couldn't stay and watch.
