Teatro Greco

Two cruise ships here today. By a touch of good fortune both can be seen behind the Greek Theatre which we visited this morning. It showed there were cruise ships in the area as the town was very busy.

We were fairly early, by the time we came out of the theatre there was a long queue to buy tickets.

In the afternoon we went down to beach level by bus. A group of three hang gliders landed on the beach just in front of us.

Either Etna had stopped erupting by the morning , or else the wind direction had changed. Anyway the town was free of the black dust today. We did see all the shop keepers busy sweeping first thing this morning.
