Bees abound in the border

Thank you all for the love on the guira cuckoos yesterday, they are very enjoyable to watch when I visit Birdland and always pose very nicely! I love that they live in communal groups and share the raising of the young. So different from our own cuckoos. 

I had a very pleasant half hour sitting next to the flower border and waiting for a bee to fly into my field of vision. I had forgotten how bloomin' fast they go though!  In extras I was so pleased to see one of last year's ranunculus produce flowers again. I have also planted more bulbs this year so fingers crossed for them too.
