Spring into summer

It was startlingly hot today. Well, startling for me, somehow I wasn't expecting it to be 30C after a series of cool, windy days. I don't think I've ever seen the swans in the park in Lézignan produce cygnets before. Not convinced it's a very safe environment for them, but the Mairie have put up some additional fences to protect them from roving yobs and dogs, and at least the park is locked at night. Hence I couldn't get very close to take a photo.

Taken on the way to pick up Arachne from the station. Hurrah for blipmeets! We spent the evening at home, feasting and talking.
