I feel a choice is coming this New Year, one with which the answer is no longer a certainty like previous years.

I have put over 31 years into gaming, my bread and butter relaxant but I find a greater enjoyment elsewhere. The badly struck notes, the dull tones of aged strings but the sense of accomplishment when someone recognises the ditty - that is my first love now.

Yet there is a time and a place for everything - my virtual worlds will still be there once the kids are in bed and a need for quiet arises, sensibly through headphones though. But for now let the chords ring out!
