Early to rise

Went into town early this morning to take piccies. There were a few people wandering around looking disappointed that only Next had been mad enough to open their sale at 6am. Admittedly they were also people who didn't look like Christmas was an important festival for them, so I couldn't blame them for wanting to snap up any bargains. Crikey, though, just the thought of getting out my wallet gave me retail indigestion!

I also wandered round the back of the Cathedral, to the empty ice rink and the now dead and gone Christmas Market. The ice rink will be busy later, but I enjoyed its early morning clothes, so this is my blip for today!

I'm aware I owe you comments for yesterday but have to go see my mum right now. I will catch up on all commenting a little later today, thanks so much for visiting my journal, especially as I collapsed photographically before Xmas and didn't post for a couple of weeks - just too many work and family things and a tad of exhaustion. Hope you're all enjoying a fabulous relaxed Boxing Day, I think it's my favourite day of the holiday, it's so chilled, isn't it, but still lots of lovely socialising..
