Sister Wendy

Happened to watch Sister Wendy last night and found myself more and more fascinated by the hands in the paintings she was explaining.

Did some experimentation here with different hand positions and, out of thirty or so exposures, this is the only one that looks in the least bit like a plausible hand.

Goodness only knows how Caravaggio et al managed to paint them looking real..
