Reading Terminal Market

Near our hotel in Philadelphia.  We visited it this morning--it is huge, and, I'm tempted to say, garish--at least in contrast to the other covered markets which we have seen in various places in Europe. Great fun for wandering around, and to purchase our lunch plus other edibles to take back to New York.  Marge and Steve drove us back, depositing us at our apartment in Manhattan--very selflessly, because they were then caught in very heavy pre-weekend traffic driving up to their home in Westchester. The rest of the afternoon and evening were devoted to relaxing and recovering from our very active three days in Philly.
