Another week

My boss' boss was happy that the clients in the room were pleased with the presentation yesterday. I said I couldn't speak for the folks online but we took the ones in the room to lunch and they were very happy - so she was happy. She shared my "displeasure" at the IT guy being late and then unpleasant - it is one thing when it is just us but when the client will there - and she completely agreed. 


I had the idea to share the proposal we'll be working on with the company "community of practice" that I thought would be interested - and my boss' boss was thrilled. She had just told someone in another part of the company that she wanted closer ties between the different sections of the company and felt like our minds had been in perfect sync. Pretty good day, eh?
