Christmas in Cambodia
We had a more leisurely day at the temples today, no crazy sunrise moments and fewer crowds. It was really lovely to take our time wandering through the shady hallways and marvel at the way the trees had grown through the temple buildings. I love the way the light falls through doorways and along corridors. This was taken at Ta Prohm, "the tomb raider temple".
I felt strange and a little sad being so far from home and family on Christmas morning but once out on the temple sites it was easy to lose yourself in the history and the moment. And the wonders of technology allowed for a lovely funny skype call with my family in the evening.
