On the High Street
Another bitty sort of day, dashing from one thing to the next without ever achieving much!
Some paperwork, domestic stuff, nice catch up with Andrea when she came for her mandolin lesson with MrM, some local shopping, a browse around the new antique shop, cooking. And, wonder of wonders, the heating engineer finally came round to discuss the possibility of installing a wood burner!
Then, in the evening, helped MrM to lay a few more floor boards in the living room. Not as many as we'd hoped, but we're getting there.
The fuchsia in the Blip is on the High Street - in one of the many containers full of plants that have been placed around Wooler. They certainly make the town brighter and a more pleasant place to be. Planting and tending the flowers seem largely to be down to one woman, who does a sterling job!
