Cooking with Poo
Sorry.
Not sorry.
I recommend to you 'A Woman At War' Wiki
This is one of those serious films where the angst of the plot is counterpointed by deadpan silliness and highlighted by subtle surrealism.
Halla wants to change things. She doesn't trust foreign investment in heavy industry, she is an eco terrorist, willing to efficiently cut power lines to a smelting plant and use the publicity as a spring board to launch her manifesto, appealing to traditional identity and long term social policies. Two things happen, firstly her manifesto is undermined by a thousand different economic, political and social voices each with a different agenda, and secondly she is offered the chance to adopt a war orphan from Ukraine.
I really did love it.
