So it didn't rain and Janet worked marvels in the kitchen and we all had a wonderful day celebrating Laurie's 90th birthday!

When Charlie stepped into the kitchen this morning her mother burst into floods of tears, Janet having no idea she was coming. What fun!

I think I'm forgiven for plying Will with a selection of single malts after coming back from the local pub last night... 

...he's still not old enough to drink in bars in his home town! I am a naughty uncle. Yes, I hear, you're not at all surprised.
