Tinsel town by sea.

Visited the wonderful Marlipins Museum in Shoreham today. They have a marvellous film on show about the early days of the film industry.
This was the 1920s and the inspiration of Sidney Morgan  whose daughter Joan Morgan starred in many of his films. The attraction of Shoreham Beach was that it was already a holiday  destination for actors and actresses, and the light for filming was good before powerful artificial light was available.

The extras are of one of the quirky houseboats along the bank of the Adur, and a view of Shoreham from the footbridge across the river. Great place. I love it there!
