The children were at the point of needing a break from people and one another so we headed back to the cinema with more free tickets to sit in the dark and not talk for a while. Zeke amused me by opting to sit alone.

Gratefuls:

1. Cousins all starting the day really happily together;
2. Eve looking at me with disdain when presented with cake - “Mum, are you expecting me to eat like a dog or something? There’s no cake fork!” More middle class than I realised!;
3. Quietly sitting on the pool balcony during Eve’s lesson while Ant took a dip with the boys.
