A new park in town

My compact camera had a fault so I took it to Jessops in Shrewsbury to be repaired. Unfortunately it will take a month which means that I won’t have it for my holiday. At least it’s under guarantee.

There are a lot of roadworks going on in the town centre closing several roads so the council have provided this temporary park to encourage people to still visit. It looks great with it’s artificial grass, seating and a children’s game in the middle. Apparently there has been entertainment there too. Well done to the council.

Tonight I’m going to see Fisherman’s Friends at Oswestry's little independent cinema so I'm looking forward to that.
