Eating Out Of My Hand

The lovely daughter wanted to visit a Wolf Sanctuary.  There is one outside of Colorado Springs and that was our first stop this morning.  I actually found it an educational experience.  I wasn't too keen on getting up close and having a one on one meeting with the creature.  This is Kekoa a 12 year old timber wolf.  He approached me first and from hs first sniff of me I was fine.  He likes to be rubbed and you have to dig deep into the thick coat.  He was taller and heavier than I expected with big teeth.  I can't remember how long he has been at the sanctuary but I'm sure he is still a wolf on the inside even if he looks like a friendly dog.
