A Late Start!

We've set off at last! A day late - it's a long story!
Yesterday after we set off from the mooring there was heavy rain so we moored up in Skipton and battened down the hatches. To pass the time I decided to organise my stuff in the bedroom cupboard. I found a container to keep my medications in. Frank and I got a 3 month supply as we don't know how long we'll be away and I had sorted mine into fewer boxes to save room on the boat. While put them all into the container I noticed some were missing. I searched everywhere until the horrible thought came to me; there was only one explanation - all the empty boxes had been thrown in the stove - including the one containing 2 months worth!
We had to wait till this morning to phone the surgery so I could own up and get more pills. They were fine about it but the only problem was Frank had to walk all the way back to the mooring to get the car then drive to the surgery in Settle, drive back to the mooring and walk all the way back to the boat. It took him 2 hours in all then I had to go to the chemist but en route past the market I got 2 tomato plants for £1 each so all is good and we are en route now! :-)
