Xin chào - Hello

On the way back from Vung Tau I stepped out on a side deck of the hydrofoil and took some pictures, including this one. There were various boats, from small fishermen boats like this one to large transporters, but this man kindly waved me hello. Everyone here is so happy.

Went to a nice restaurant for lunch and took a cab to my sisters. Finally caught up with Dom, been ages since I talked to her so it was good, missed her lots and hopefully I'll get to see her in 3 weeks. At my sister's, we cooked a tiny little dinner, ate on paper plates with a bottle of wine and some beers around a coffee table on a roof top with the view of Ho Chi Minh at night. Unforgettable christmas. Apparently no one else in my family likes red wine... Not a good thing.

Got stuck in insane traffic back in the city. Had to get out of the cab and walk to the hotel. Cars literally could not pass, so many people, so many motorbikes. Hectic
