Merry Christmas!
When Miles woke up this morning we told him that Santa came last night...he got this magical look on his face like he really knew what we were talking about. I told him that we better get downstairs to see our stockings...He walked right to the fireplace and dug through his stocking, very excited to find a bus, some animals, crayons, and more. We then opened presents and Miles was much more interested in the presents than the boxes this year.
After we opened presents I drove into Starbucks for coffee and on my way back home, listening to Christmas music on the radio I got very emotional about how blessed I have been this year & lucky I am to have been able to celebrate this holiday with my baby.
I pulled myself together by the time I pulled in the driveway and after our own morning as a small family we headed to Mimi and Granpda C's house where Miles also got to spend the day with his cousin Charlotte, Auntie Beth and Uncle Timmy. It was an amazing day...even though Miles was too interested in his new toys to spend any of his time eating, listening, or behaving. Oh well...it's Christmas.
Here are Miles (22 months) and Charlotte (16 months) sitting in their new PB chairs. They are basically the same size and doing the same things now...which is so much fun!
