Rogue Rose

I just loved the way this rose bush, which has been unattended for years, is still growing strongly through a thick shrub at the bottom of my recent neighbour's neglected garden....nature doing it's own thing, with sparrows nesting in the thick of it....lovely. Thanks as always to Bikerbear for hosting :)) 
Had a 3 hour Skype with my youngest son who is presently living in the Himalayas, but on a visit to Sri Lanka to renew his visa. Rather amazing news that he is to become a father at the age of 51, following his girlfriend's visit from Vietnam in April.....so a lot of unexpected changes to come.....I think he will make a great father :))
