Volksfest

After being gently awoken by the bells from 4 different churches and regalled by the local brass band, we figured out the something was different. Today is Christi himmelfahrt and the beginning of Volksfest. These beauties were getting ready to join the procession to the Volksfest ground and there were lots of people dressed in Trachen, traditional Bavarian costume. Very colourful indeed.
