Into the Light

After some discussion this morning our our guests from Oregon elected to go to Sonoma today so off we went to The Girl and the Fig for a delicious lunch on the patio in the sun. We ambled past the old fort, the barracks and the mission church. In all the times that we have gone to Sonoma and ambled past these buildings we have never gone into them, so we decided to check them out. I feel that I must have spent another life in an early California town because I always feel at home in buildings like this.

My picture is of OilMan as he walks out onto the balcony of the barracks building overlooking the street. There's something almost mystic about it.

Anne and Harold carry on down to Southern California for their grandson's graduation from high school tomorrow. We'll be going down there next weekend for our granddaughter's graduation...
